Today something suddenly came to mind: back when I was still working on my graduation project, I was waiting for the bus at the North District Route 315 stop. I vaguely recall that it was evening, and a young boy was selling some apples nearby. At the time I only felt it was a little strange and did not dare talk much; at most, when he fixed his eyes on me and asked whether I wanted to buy some, I answered that I did not need any. I vaguely remember him as a very brisk young man. Probably because Route 315 was never on schedule, more people gradually gathered, though there were still only three or four. A few aunties also came to wait, and the boy began trying to sell them apples; they refused too, of course. Then, perhaps out of boredom from waiting, the aunties struck up a conversation with him—talked about living nearby, about someone in the family being seriously ill, about medical insurance. Yet no one bought anything. I felt a little awkward; just then it began to drizzle, and luckily the bus arrived soon, so I got on.
